Kavasutra Kava Bar (“Kavasutra,” “we,” “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. When you use a contact or job application form, you provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, the location you are asking about, and anything you write in the message. We use it to respond to you and, for applications, to consider you for a position.
Location lookups. If you use “Use my current location,” your browser asks your permission and then shares approximate coordinates so we can show the nearest bars. We do not store them. Typing a city or ZIP sends that text to our server, and unrecognized places are looked up through OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, device type, general region). Google may set cookies to do this. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Age verification. Pages that discuss our Tea Menu ask whether you are 21 or older. Your answer is stored in your browser only, so you are not asked again, and it is never sent to us.
Our rewards program and text-message club are joined in the bar, not on this website. Rewards are tied to the phone number you give at the register, which is shared across all Kavasutra locations so points can be earned and redeemed anywhere. The information you give at the register is handled under the terms shown at sign-up. Text messages are sent only to people who opted in; reply STOP to any message to opt out.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help run the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics), with the location you asked about or applied to, and when the law requires it.
You can ask us to correct or delete information you have sent through the site by emailing [email protected]. Residents of states with privacy laws (including California, Colorado, and Florida) may have additional rights to access or delete their data; write to the same address and we will respond as the law requires.
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
